Go For the History

Built around the original trading post in this area, construction on the castle, including addition of a crenelated tower, continued through the Victorian era. It was considered an engineering marvel of the era. The castle was built in the 1790's by Jacob Bowman and is also called "Bowman's Castle" and rightly so as this building is grand in stature and design.

We felt it on our first visit (in the servants bedroom to be exact)  and we know that you will appreciate this location's history and mystery.
