It is with great excitement that we are planning this trip to Louisville Kentucky in August of 2008.  With the arrival of SCI FI channels filming of a         GHOSTHUNTERS episode on Halloween of 2007, the popularity of Waverly Hills Sanatorium will surely skyrocket in 2008.

The movie 2005 "Death Tunnel" and the 2006 Booth Brothers documentary "Spooked" were both filmed at Waverly Hills.

This Haunted Heartland Tour will include:

Round trip coach bus from/return North Canton Ohio

Breakfast muffins and OJ on bus Saturday morning

Snacks and bottled water on the bus trip

Viewing of "Spooked" and "Death Tunnel" on our bus tv screens

Opening on July 10th 1926, Waverly Hills Sanatorium was built to house 40-50 patients who were suffering from Tuberculosis or as some called it, the White Plague. As TB became a dreaded and incurable epidemic, the census of the hospital increased to hold nearly 400 patients.

As there was no cure for Tuberculosis at the time,many fell to it's devastating demise. There are said to be nearly 64,000 deaths that took place at Waverly Hills up until its doors closed in 1961.

Some say that many are still wandering the halls.......

Stand on the rooftop where the children and mentally ill patients "took" fresh air treatments

This building is 5 levels and around 200,000 square feet

Venture down the 525 feet of the Body Chute or Death Tunnel as some call it.

We really want everyone to have a chance to experience Waverly Hills. We will be offering a 1/2 payment option or a full payment option. Either one will guarantee your reservations into the shadowy halls of Waverly Hills. If you choose to do the 1 /2 payment, the remaining 1 /2 will be due no later than March 31st 2008. If your 1/2 payment is not made by that date, your seat will be canceled and there will be no refund.

You will be contacted via email with a special link to make your second payment in March.
