Dowsing
"Dowsing" or "Divining" has been around for thousands of years. There have been hundreds of webpages out there on the web that tell you the how's, what's and whys of it but none can totally explain how it works. But it does!

What is dowsing? Webster's dictionary describes it this way:
Dowse- to find or to seek out. To search.

Let me tell you something that is very important. This is not witchcraft. There is nothing evil about the rods. They will not bring you bad luck or curse your family. They will not make you lose your hair, lose your job or even make your dog run away!

There are no hidden powers. The "powers" are simply the fact that you are tuning in to your own extra sensory perception and the fact that when you focus and concentrate, we can accomplish great feats.  Our minds are amazing and to think we only use a small percentage of our entire brain?!

Back in the days of antiquity, the ancient people were probably very intune with the hidden earth energies such as vortexes and ley  (NOT Lay but L-E-Y) lines. They could probably sense these energies themselves. Some dowsers use Y rods or L Rods. Some dowsers use wood such as apple or willow. Some dowsers just use their arms which I imagine would look a bit wild!

I have been dowsing for many years and enjoy teaching as many people as I can about the subject. Over the past few years I have taught nearly 2000 people the art or "science" of dowsing. I make rods myself and use chrome as my choice of metal. Through out the ages, silver has always had desirable properties and many people believed it to have a protective quality to it. Remember silver talismans, amulets and even silver bullets against the werewolves?? (the last one was a joke)

So, now you have some basic facts about dowsing or divining. Explore for yourself and see. Type in the word "dowsing" in the Google Box and learn a bit about this interesting subject!
