Athens Ohio is a college town. A town of bustling students, innovative stores, cozy coffee shops and something else.  Many say there is an "odd"  feeling in Athens at times. One can almost sense that there is "something" else in this community nestled in Ohio's Appalachia.

  Bus departs from North Canton Ohio at 10:00 am and returns there at about 11:00pm

It is also known for its alleged hauntings and wild celebrations at Halloween.

Downtown Athens in years past

We will explore on foot, some of the cemeteries that make the alleged pentagram around the city of Athens Ohio. Read more about Athens cemeteries here. 

We will also visit the cemetery where the weeping angel stands guard over unknown soldiers graves

We will also see some of the buildings which were once part of the Athens Lunatic Asylum.

We will get the chance to step inside the Ridges building but only to visit the 1St floor art museum.

NOTE:  WE DO NOT GHOSTHUNT INSIDE ANY OF THE OLD LUNATIC ASYLUM BUILDINGS MANAGED BY OHIO UNIVERSITY.
